Well, sweet little Tina, six months have gone by, really? Sometimes it seems like yesterday, especially the pain that strikes my heart unexpectedly and then others, seems much longer. Unbelievable we are going on without you, but your life and you are such an inspiration, how can we not? Quite often, I can see your face, and hear your laugh, and I know you at those difficult moments, you are saying, it is what it is, just do it. I also remember you laughing often in spite of your struggle, it moves me dear, to laugh and smile everyday, no matter how hard it might be in one moment. Recently I had a memory pop up I had completely forgotten. We are in Japan, living, there, it is raining, and I am a teen, getting ready to go out. Not sure why, but you are laying on my bed watching me put my make up on. Your sweet little face, gosh, can't wait to see it again someday!

It is no mistake that our paths crossed, and we became friends. I met Tina because she took such perfect care of our networking group at Elmers. Joi, Crystal & Kora ... I am incredibly devistated by the news of Tina's passing. The last time she & I spoke, she made me certain that she would beat cancer as she did every other obstacle in her life. You three were the center of her life and her reason for living. hello my name is tamara i worked with tina for 2 yrs she was fun to work with , she trained me at elmers i visited her a few times and spent time with her and her daughter kora when she was smaller, god put people in our paths kora stopped me and tole me about her passing,i didnt know who it was till after she drove aWAY .I called the funeral home to give my number to kora, josh groban to where you are and you are loved decicated to tina love you.

Knowing Tina for only two short months, I can't express what an indelible impact she made on me as a person and my nursing perspective. I had the privilege to care for Tina in the last months of her life, and despite her illness, she was laughing, smiling and enjoying her family sooooo much, each and every day. i was so sad to see such a great person no longer with us. i worked with tina for years at JB'S she was one of my bosses but most of all she was a great friend. we lost touch the last few years but i never forgot her or her girls who i also worked with. i am so sad you lost your mom but i know we will all see her again take care love patty

I was so sorry to hear about Tina. We hadn't seen her for about a year, but I was always thinking about her and wondering how she was doing. Whenever we saw her, the first thing she did was update us on how you girls were doing. She was so proud of you. I still have the bird feeder she gave me when I worked for her that first year you guys were in CDA. She is now free of pain but I know you will miss her terribly. She was a great employer and a good friend even though we seemed to have lost touch over the years.
