I am an old friend of Abdul’s. Although his passing was long ago. the news is fresh for me. I loved Abdul’s cooking. My favorite dish was baklava. I am so very glad that he found and built a loving family. I hope that those he left behind, can find peace and the ability to keep the nice memories in their hearts.

Abdul was always welcome in our home - we were pleased he was driving from Spokane Valley to pick up his son Omar for Spring Break vacation. Abdul was his usual smiling self ... but wasn't feeling very well .... we did take several pictures of Abdul and Omar and we're so pleased we did. This is the last picture we have of Abdul with his son before he was diagnosed with the brain tumor. This picture was taken April 4, 2011.

You will never be forgotten. You are one of the most kind and loving persons I have ever known. You always had a smile for others even in your darkest days. You fought a long hard battle and never complained always worried about others. You will be missed so much. I will treasure all the memories that the four of us had together. Angie: No words can express how deeply we feel about the loss of your beloved Abdul. I can't imagine the pain you must be going through.
