Just heard the sad news of Jerry's passing. I have many fond memories of hunting with Jerry as a youngster and would look forward to hunting season in hopes of running in to him. I could sit for hours and listen to his many stories and his laugh. He was truly one of a kind! My thoughts and prayers are with you Wally, Grant, Scott and your families during this most difficult time.
R.I.P. Jerry!!!

Such a sad day it was last Friday when we got the news that my cousin and friend had passed away. We will always treasure our many memories of Jerry. We enjoyed our friendship with Jerry, Jordyce and boys throughout the years and always were welcomed into their home where Jerry cooked such super meals and there was always PLENTY! I can see why Grant commented that the Delaney's ate like birds! Skiing with Jerry and his family each Christmas was always so much fun - Jerry's quick wit and story-telling always kept us in stitches! Travels to Europe were very interesting as well as entertaining due to his knowledge of the history of the war. Our sincere condolences to Wally, Grant & Scott and families - we are thinking of you now and always.
Rest in peace, dear cousin and friend, Jerry. You will truly be missed!

Oh how I already miss him, just knowing that he is no longer making people laugh or cooking his wonderful dishes. He showed me how to make homemade french onion soup and now it is a family tradition at my house during the holidays. I have so many memories of him and I am thankful he made such a difference in my life. He was always generous with his time with me. In college when I was homesick, I would go to Bismarck and "tour Europe" at his kitchen counter. Looking over maps, books, pictures, all while drinking Coke on ice and shelling peanuts. He made me feel special and always had time for me. I'm so glad I knew him. My four boys think of him as their Uncle Jerry too. Not a "great-Uncle"..... they adored him too much to think of him a generation removed. We send our condolences, and share in your sadness.
