I only got to meet Chuck a few times but these few times were very rewarding. When I had parted ways with him after each visit I felt like I had just said goodbye to an old friend, he just made you feel that way. I wish there were words that I could say to all the Buck family that would ease your sorrow but I can only think of one person that has those words and that is Jesus.
From one old veteran to another, thank you Mr. Chuck Buck for your service to God and Country. I will miss you but because of the man you were I will always have the memories and a special picture we took together.
