I just learned of Andrea's passing and want to send my heartfelt condolences to all of her family and friends. I was the Personal Trainer who worked with Andrea to receive her Certification. She was such a blast to be around!
Please accept my love, blessings, prayers and thoughts as you go through this very difficult time.
Andrea was so awesome and she still is!

Dear Andrea,
We have known each other online for several years - A fellow pug fanatic but also a kindred spirit! I hope (but I think!) You know how much I love and adore you. Not many people make me actually LOL!! And you aren't easily pleased haha I fawned over Chester and got the best most cynical replies..it only made me love you and chester more!!
I've followed your awesomeness with your running. Knitting, biking and friendships. I followed and still read over your blackpugknits blog. Thank you thank you for making my life better for listening in xx

Andrea was the very first person to come into my yarn shop on opening day. She came with her smiling face, knitting knowledge and much inspiration. We spent many hours knitting together while she shared her stories of her love for her fury little friends...the pugs. She has left a special memories in all our hearts. May she rest in Peace.

I was so hoping Andrea would beat the "beast". I admired her very much for her accomplishments, spirited wit, and personality that attracted so many friends. She ran a great race to the finish and she will always be in my heart.

Andrea was an amazing friend and woman and this world will have one less angel among us. She will be missed, hugs and love to all of her friends and family during this time of grief. Her life was cut way too short by this horrible disease, cancer just sucks. We have all lost too many of our loved ones to this horrible disease.

I'm so sad to hear of Andrea's passing. I remember her from Sunset Elementary school where we both won the bicycle rodeo in 1972! Thankfully she still had the newspaper clipping and posted it on Facebook. She had a crush on me in the first grade or something like that and, boy, she sure let me know. I'll never forget her. I'm glad that we were able to reconnect as adults. I'm just so sorry that she is gone way too soon. My thoughts and prayers are her family and friends.

I am so sorry to read of Andrea's passing. I used to shop in her store in both locations, take an occasional class, and frequently visit just to talk yarn and pet the pugs.
Andrea was always upbeat, positive and ready to help. She even came to help me launch and little knitting club for teens at the library where I work.
Andrea had a huge heart. You will be so missed by so many, 2 legged and 4.

While we never met in person, I feel that I have known Andrea for almost 20 years. We first met through a listserv for pug owners in the late 90's. Her wit and stories were always entertaining. A fellow pug fanatic introduced me to Chester's Facebook page about a year ago and it was then that I realized he was Andrea's special pug. She was an amazing woman who lived an amazing life and will leave behind an amazing legacy. She packed much into a short 52 years. I know there was a special celebration at the Rainbow Bridge when she arrived. Andrea -- Please keep our pugs Chopper, Choomia, Chester & Charlie company until we can all romp and play on the other side of the bridge. You will be missed!

I am so sad at the loss of a knitty friend. Andrea was always available to help me out when I was lost on pattern instructions, and we would sit around the shop and laugh and have a great time knitting. She was a member of the Knotty Girls of Boucle's yarn shop in downtown Cd'A from the beginning, she will be missed very much.

I knew Andrea through Chester's online persona. Her wry sense of humor and compassion for the four-legged was evident in the posts on the extraordinary life in her puggy household.
The news of her illness was devastating but the spirit she demonstrated throughout her treatment was amazing.
I wrote that we are all ships that pass in the night, some of our beacons beam brighter. Andrea's lit up the heavens. Bless her works and her memory.
