Dearest Grandma,
I'm finally ready to say what I need to to you. You have always been like a beacon in the night for me.. I know that every bit of goodness inside of me was instilled by you alone. Losing you so suddenly is by far my life's greatest sufferance. I love you so very much, no words can ever describe how grateful I am that you were mine in life.. To share with, to laugh with, to confide in, to cuddle with, to experience art and music with, to read with, to play with, and to cry with when called for. There will never be another person here that can replace you and all the wonderful gifts of joy that u showed me. Because of you I am better than my natural born self, your love and understanding has carried me through so many trials and heart aches, it has made me strive to be a stronger woman, a better mother, a thinker, it has taught me to love in a world that at times seems loveless.... You will always be in my heart and on my mind and I will speak of you with the kindest words and absolute respect forever. My grandchildren will know who you are and I will be just like you someday for them. I pray to my heavenly Father that you can hear my heart and feel my love where you are now. And I pray that one day I am beside you again in heaven, and I ask that you are happy and surrounded by those who recognize what a true angel you are in this life and the next.. And I pray for these things in the name of the Son, our one and only Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
