I didn't know Tom that well or that long, however, I saw in him a kind, God-fearing heart whose faith, love, and demeanor affected me greatly. I got to know Tom more at the men's winter weekend retreat last year, and ever since then, I have had the honor of becoming closer to Tom. He was like family, as is everyone from Lakeside. He will be missed by many, but we can also rejoice and find peace in his passing. My sincerest condolences to his entire family. I have been praying.
