The last time I saw Chuck and Nancy was when they came to the St. Clements Horse in Saratoga Springs to watch my daughter, Brynne, then 14, show her new horse. We were living in NJ at the time and it was great to see them. They followed us around, watch Brynne win class after class and then we burdened them with all the ribbons, trophies and coolers she won. They were thrilled and very proud. Chuck was always my favorite cousin and I loved Nancy (after I got over being jealous when he married her - I was 8!)I'm sorry I didn't know about her death, but am glad she was a part of our lives for a little while. What a wonderful loving couple!

Nancy was my third grade teacher and an integral part of my life-long love of learning, and she and my mom, Flora, were the best of friends. Their classrooms at Caroline Street School were across the hall from each other for many years, and they were both active in church and, in later years, Retired Teachers. (We also shared many holiday meals with Nancy, and her presence at our table will always be missed.) After retirement, Mom and Nancy often went out to lunch together or just spent an afternoon visiting. Mom never tired of her company. It's comforting to know that they've now been reunited, as we all will be one day. My sincere condolences to the family during this difficult time. Peg (Clements) Thompson

to Nancy's family--I first met your Mom when she was my son's second grade teacher. I became her room mother for that year and we had a wonderful time together, making plans for the various holidays. I met Nancy again when she resided at Prestwick Chase where my parents also lived. We were able to catch up again and renew our friendship. Besides being an absolutely wonderful teacher, Nancy was a genuinely kind human being. I am so happy I got to know her. She was the best and I am so sorry for your loss. Fondly, Pam Farrell
