Obituary of Justin Stephen Olsen

Justin Stephen Olsen, 27 passed away Thursday July 9, 2015 near Williston, ND. He was born June 14, 1988, the son of Stephen Olsen and Diane Baldwin. He is the big brother to Tyson Olsen. Justin and Tyson were best friends. They were nearly inseparable, and often thought of as twins. While growing up they looked so much alike. As they grew older they remained extremely close and always looked out for each other. Justin graduated from Salmon High School in 2006 with honors. He was active in the wrestling program and placed at state twice. Justin later went on to graduate from Northwest Lineman College in 2008 in Meridian, Idaho. He was an exceptional lineman who loved his job and his lineman family. Justin married Savanna Olsen in 2011. They had a beautiful baby girl in 2012. Emma Rose Olsen became the light of Justin's life. He introduced her to all his favorite hobbies like hunting, fishing, boating, and all things outdoors. He is survived by his daughter Emma. His mother Diane and stepfather Myron Baldwin of Salmon, his father Stephen Olsen of Pocatello. His step brother Jacob Baldwin and step sisters, Alyssa and Ellie. His grand parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Tyson S. Olsen of Salmon. Justin was a loving son, father, husband, grandson and friend. He will be greatly missed by every life he touched. The services will be held on Friday July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at the LDS Stake Center 400 S. Daisy St. in Salmon, Idaho. A gathering will be held an hour prior in the Relief Society Room. In Lieu of flowers a fund has been set up for Justin's daughter, Emma Olsen at East Idaho Credit Union( 777 Shoup St. Salmon, ID 83467.
