Obituary of Elizabeth Claire Magee

Elizabeth (Betty) Claire Magee, 76, passed away on July 24th after a brief bout with lung cancer. Betty was born August 12, 1938, in San Francisco, CA. She grew up with her parents, Matthew and Eleda Martin, and two brothers, Robert and David.
Betty graduated from C.K. McClatchy High School in the Land Park area of Sacramento, CA, home of the Lions. Betty met and married Willis J. Magee, a Korean War era Veteran in 1956. They lived in California and Alaska and raised six children together: Susan Pray, Willis J. Magee Jr. (Jay), Frank Magee, Tom Magee, Lori Magee, and Betsy Pescini. She left behind 13 grandkids and 20 great-grandchildren.
Betty was known to all as being a proud and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She remained close to her children and their families. Everyone that knew her, loved her, and will always have a warm place in their hearts for her.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 29th at Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave, Post Falls, ID. Flowers may be sent to Bell Tower Funeral Home.
