Obituary of Doris Marie Eichinger (Welsh)

Doris passed away July 31, 2015 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene. She was born on February 6, 1933 an only child to John and Irene Eplin. Doris was a lifelong resident of the Silver Valley. She attended Wallace High School where she was a member of the high school band and played the saxophone. She married Richard Eichinger on June 26, 1949 and together they raised their three children, Nancy, Connie and Rick in Silverton. Doris worked in the health care industry at the Providence Hospital in Wallace and the nursing home in Silverton. She loved music , flowers, animals, especially her cat Tytta. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting and drawing. Her greatest achievement in her eyes were her children. Doris is survived by her daughters Nancy (Bencich) Green and son in law, Lonny, Connie Gutierrez and son in law Richard, grandsons Stonko, Jesse and Robby Bencich, Chris Eixenberger and Robin, Ed and Rick Gutierrez, a sister in law, Gail Havlicak, numerous great grandchildren, nieces Annette (Kevin) Lynott, Amberly Lynott, Conner Lynott and Alyssa Lynott. Services will be held on September 12, 2015 at 1 pm at The Osburn VFW Hall 4th St. Osburn, ID.
