Obituary of Glenn William Everts
Please share a memory of Glenn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Glenn W. Everts, age 61 passed quietly into our Father’s loving arms on August 6th, 2015, with his daughters by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Coeur d Alene, Idaho on August 24th, 1953 to Mark and Susanne Everts, joining two older brothers who were his best friends.
He was the father of two beautiful girls who loved him very much and will miss him immensely.
He is proceeded in death by his father Marklin Everts in 1993, his mother Susanne Everts in 2002 and his grandson Kyle Newberry in 2001.
Despite my fathers “physical limitations” he was always a hard worker. For years he logged in the woods with his father up on Mica Bay, this he loved. God was first and foremost. He enjoyed nature, playing pool and being with his family. He did his best to provide and was always available to his kids to lend a caring ear and a helping hand where he could. He enjoyed every minute, right up till the end, that he got to spend with his grandkids and was a wonderful grandfather to them. My dad had a big heart and was loved and cherished by all who truly knew him.
He is survived by his brother Daniel Everts (Jan): niece Chrissy, his other brother Claude Everts: niece Breanna, daughters Tammy Marshall (Tim) and Tracey Berscheid (Eugene), 6 grandkids: Chandra, Nigel, Alaysia, Ashton, Peyton and Kiera and numerous friends that will miss him dearly.
The family would like to thank Crest Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful assistance and for caring for our dad and best friend when he needed it the most. Thank you also to Kootenai Cancer Center and Bell Tower Funeral Home.
May you have the peace in heaven dad which you were unable to have on earth.
Services will be held at a later time.
