We are so sad to hear about the loss of Nathan. It was such a pleasure to get to know the Howards in Federal Way, WA long ago. We send our love to his sweet wife and family!
Love,
John and Andrea Sandberg ( remember I was your Witch for your seasonal party)....My husband made you Lie! I think you were Stake YW President at the time not sure. Wish we could have had more time getting to know your family.
We thought you both were amazing and we wanted to be like you two!

To Sister Howard: it's been many years since I've enjoyed your company and that of your husband. I express my sorrow to you for your loss. I very much enjoyed the influence that your family has had on my life. I know this is a difficult time but I am confident your husband is at peace and enjoys the company of the Savior and many loved ones. I send you my strength to help you persevere through your loss.
To Stephen: My old friend, I am so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. I lost my father 8 years ago in a very short time. I know your loss is great and that it weighs upon you. For as long as I've known you, you have been a strong example. If it were possible I'd give you a big hug, and let you know your father enjoys our Savior's embrace. You are such a good man. I know your father is so pleased with who you've become. I love you like a brother and send my condolences to you and yours.

I'm so shocked and unhappy to read this notice of Nathan's passing. He and you have been so uplifting to visit and talk with. He did make the world a better place. You have been the perfect wife for him because of your great qualities. May the Lord bless you with comfort.

What a wonderful obituary & tribute to Nathan. He's one of the great & noble ones. I Loved and respected him since 1965 when he became "my uncle." And married my aunt JoAnn. I always thought he was handsome!! We will miss him but know we will see him again,

So sorry to hear of Bro. Howard's passing. I have fond memories of him teaching me in seminary along with my sister Carrie and Troy Croshaw. I think it was the only year I completed the whole year. What a wonderful, funny and kind man.

My condolences to you. It is hard when one half of the partnership goes before the other. I hope you do better than I. Our great men meet together!

We met Nathan on their mission to the Nauvoo Temple. What an example he was to everyone....serving faithfully even with his health challenges. We received one of his beautiful candles which sits on my dresser to remind me of his great service and his caring of others. May the Lord bless your family with comfort and peace in your loss. Love.....Phyllis Ross
