To Sister Howard: it's been many years since I've enjoyed your company and that of your husband. I express my sorrow to you for your loss. I very much enjoyed the influence that your family has had on my life. I know this is a difficult time but I am confident your husband is at peace and enjoys the company of the Savior and many loved ones. I send you my strength to help you persevere through your loss.
To Stephen: My old friend, I am so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. I lost my father 8 years ago in a very short time. I know your loss is great and that it weighs upon you. For as long as I've known you, you have been a strong example. If it were possible I'd give you a big hug, and let you know your father enjoys our Savior's embrace. You are such a good man. I know your father is so pleased with who you've become. I love you like a brother and send my condolences to you and yours.
