Obituary of Lawrence Wayne Soto

Please share a memory of Lawrence to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On February 13th 2016 Jesus called out to our beloved Larry and held out his hand for Larry to take hold. Larry was a wonderful husband to his wife Kim and an incredible father to his son Justin. We must not forget his three little babies Humphrey, Misty and Sunny. His dogs were a great comfort to him as his illness continued to take it’s toll on him. Larry was born and raised in San Pedro CA. He was a true Pedro boy, barefoot and shirtless, a total surfer dude. To fulfill his adventurous side, Larry joined the Army in 1965 and served in Korea until 1968. Larry is preceded in death by his sister Lisa, brothers James and Ronald, his father Raymond Soto and his mother Verda along with his Grandma Soto, Grandma and Grandpa Johnson along with numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his soul mate Kim, his son Justin; sisters Sonya and Ramona, brother Martin; nephews Jimmy, Chris, Jeremiah, David, Kenny, Mathew, Joseph, Christopher, Alex, Jessie; nieces Nicole, Marisssa, Brittany, Victoria and Vanessa; cousins Frank, Jessie, Carlos, Mike, Bob, Stella, Helen, David, Paul, Gloria; Aunt Sally, uncle Johnny and his favorite sister in-law Debbie. Larry was a self made, mechanically inclined man who could fix just about anything. He was a soft spoken man of few words with a big heart full of love and he will be remembered by all those he leaves behind.
