First, my very sincere condolences to the entire Schroeder family.
I just recently discovered from Penny that John had passed and I'm so sad to hear of this. John and I worked together in Southern California. We discovered that we had many things in common. We watched the same shows, liked the same movies, shared our love for racing, especially NASCAR. We spent many weekends at Riverside International Raceway. We even discovered our dads worked at the same company. And there we were, doing the same. Our families did things together. I even house sat for them one year while they were on vacation. I'll never forget driving up to their house in Coeur d' Alene and going water skiing and berry picking. I feel bad that we lost contact with each other and that I didn't know he was ill. He will be missed and remembered. John was a great friend.

Dear Peggy, John and Jeremy and Shroeder families...
We are so saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved Husband John and father.
Our memories which stem back to the boys baseball years will live on with us forever.
It's never easy losing the love of your life Peggy, or the father so loved by his sons, but I believe we will all meet our loved ones again when the Lord calls us home too.
Our deepest sympathies are offered to you today.
Peggy...That beautiful smile and loving heart you have will flourish again. May God keep you safe as you and the boys lean on each other to comfort your broken hearts.
Love you Sweet Friend

Bro,
We will all miss you, you were my movie buddy since we were kids. I will never forget you, and all the good times. Old movies on Saturdays, soul train, going to the batting cages with you, timing you from home to first, water skiing, fishing, races, Mikes and Helens. I am sure mom is taking good care of you and dad now.
Love you
Peg

Penny, Jeremy, & Johnny: May I offer my Condolences to all of you. I find an enpty spot in my heart, as i am sure you all do. The empty spot i am sure will heal with time, and the wonderful memories of my Friend John will take over. What a guy huh. I will never forget his jovial personallity, his big smile, and the kindness he held for all of those he called friends. He is happy now, with no pain or worries, and you and I know he'll be in front of his 72" TV on Sunday watching his beloved NASCAR race with a big schooner of Coors. May we ever cherish our memories of our buddy. Big Rog
