Obituary of Melissa Dawn Veach

Melissa Dawn Veach, 59, of Sagle, Idaho passed away march 29, 2016 surrounded by her family. Melissa was born February 5, 1957 in Jackson, Wyoming to Theodore and Nadeen (Blair) Priestley. As a child Melissa moved to Rocksprings, and eventually Casper Wyoming. Melissa earned her GED and later attended College in Oklahoma.
She first met Loren Franzen and they were married in Cody, Wyoming in 1973, they were later divorced. She then met Joseph Veach and they were married in Rocksprings, Wyoming in 1980. They were married 29 years when Joseph passed away in March of 2009.
Melissa worked as a caregiver for mentally challenged adults. She loved to go camping, she loved her dogs Charlie, Gracie, and Fritz, going to the casino, and listening to music, but above all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother Nadeen McJunkin of Sagle, Idaho four children Brandy Franzen of Oklahoma City, Joshua Veach of Oklahoma City, Jessica Veach of Sagle, Idaho, and Joseph Veach III of Oklahoma City; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister Arleen Hepner of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; nieces and nephews Sarah, Sherry, Bow, and step parents Patricia & Arlo Clayburn and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her son Brandon Franzen, her ex-husband, and husband, one brother Robin Clayburn.
A Celebration of Melissa’s Life will be held Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Sandpoint Church of God 221 S. Division Sandpoint, Idaho 83868.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
