Kenneth “Ken” Eugene Edwards, 81, of Plummer, Idaho passed away June 10, 2016 at the Hospice House in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Ken was born February 18, 1935 in Wallace, Idaho to Oscar and Cora Edwards. As a child Ken moved with his family to Washington State where he attended and graduated from High School. He worked at various jobs throughout his life and owned several businesses including working as a banker, carpenter, and owned his own refrigeration business, and hot tar roofing business, lastly working as a yard foreman at an RV dealer. Ken met Patricia Ann McMinimy in Post Falls, Idaho and they were later married in 1978. Together they moved to Alaska where they lived for 14 years. They eventually moved back to Idaho finally settling in Plummer, Idaho. Ken was a past Grand Master of the Independent order of Odd Fellows in Idaho. He was also a member of the Eagles, the American Legion, and the local classic car club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and restoring classic cars. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia of the family home in Plummer, Idaho; three children Donald, Ronald, and Linda; five stepchildren Kristin, Joseph, Robert, David, and Mike; and several grand and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Odd Fellows Hall 200 Railroad Ave. Post Falls, Idaho. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Hospice House at 9493 N. Government Way Hayden, Idaho 83835.
