Sandy was my supervisor and mentor as I entered the world of reference. I enjoyed working with Sandy and couldn't have asked for a better guide as I learned my way.
Even as she battled health issues she remained upbeat, cheerful, and always ready to listen, instruct, and support. When I visited her only a few short weeks ago, she was upbeat and as thoughtful as ever. Truly Sandy was remarkable in so many ways, and I feel so fortunate to have had her as a teacher.
My sincere condolences on your loss.
