My condolences to the family during this difficult time. No one can prepare us for the grief we experience when we lose a loved one. However, we can always find comfort from God’s word. At 1 Peter 5:7, we are encouraged to "throw all your anxiety on him, because he (God) cares for you". Although missed, your loved one is not forgotten, and God who is the life giver is eager to restore to life those who have fallen asleep in death and promises to do so by means of a resurrection (John 5:28,29).
