Obituary of James John Arnold

James John Arnold, 41, of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho passed away December 3, 2016 at the
Hospice House in Coeur d’ Alene. James was born August 16, 1975 in Turlock,
California to James and Brenda (Gunter) Arnold.
As a child James moved with his family to North Idaho where he grew up in Rathdrum and Hayden and attended and graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1993. He then
joined the United States Army in the Airborne Infantry division. After his honorable
discharge James returned to North Idaho to be with his family.
James worked mostly in construction. He was a member of Lakeside Family Church in Coeur
d’ Alene. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and helping people. He was a truly selfless individual who would jump in and help anyone, anywhere, with anything. After his cancer diagnoses he was commonly found sharing his love for Jesus and Jesus's Blessings in his life.
James is survived by his mother Brenda &(Cecil) Bell; his father Jim &(Vindy Ratz) Arnold and his step-mother Ellen Arnold; his longtime girlfriend Crystal Smith of Spokane,
Washington; one son Brendan Hellbusch of Boise, Idaho; two brothers Billy & (Julie)
Arnold of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, and Ferrell Arnold of Boise, Idaho; two sisters Marti
Blalock of Tacoma, Washington and Jennifer Arnold of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho; and many
nieces and nephews who adored him. James was preceded in death by his sister Mary Louise.
A celebration of James’s life will be held Saturday December 17, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at
Bell Tower Funeral Home 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, Idaho 83854.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to Lakeside Family Church at P.O. Box 1033 Hayden, ID 83835.
