I was Joans sister in law for many years..we had some great times together. Every time I saw her it was like we never were apart.I loved Joanie and will miss her deeply.God bless all of you, my prayers are with you all..
I worked with Joan from about 2007 to 2015. I always enjoyed her snappy sense of humor and comebacks to my comments. She always, always kept me on my toes. One of my favorite memories was when I would take this stuffed toy rat, sneak up on her at the front desk of PHD, put it right behind her on the desk, and then I would run away really fast. I'd hear her squeal and yell my name from across the hall. Great times.

I'm so saddened to find out that Joan passed away. ..I've known her for quite awhile from panhandle health...always had a smile on her face and greeted me with "there's trouble now"..it's sure not going to be the same when I go in there anymore. ..sending prayers to you all for your loss of a wonderful woman!
I had the pleasure of working with Joan at Panhandle Health for 6 years. She was a delightful person to be around. Her laugh and smile were infectious. I will truly miss her. Rest in peace Joan.

So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. I hung with her in high school for awhile as l was a year older. She had a great sense of humor and was lots of fun, you always knew how she felt. A very strong gal who knew what she wanted. Way to young to die. Praying for you Cricket and family!!
Heard of Joan's illness just a few weeks ago. I was very saddened to hear of her passing so quickly. Was able to find her phone number and gave her a call last Sunday. Time and distance separated us but memories of our friendship have stayed with me through the years. She will forever be missed and I will always treasure the friendship we had growing up. Goodbye to an old and dear friend.
