Obituary of Margaret Mary Davide

Margaret Mary Davide, 91, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away December 27, 2016 at Guardian Angel Assisted Living. Margaret was born November 27, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to Emanuel and Rosalie Ciccarello. The oldest of three children, Margaret was raised alongside her sister (Theresa) and brother (Paul) in Brooklyn, New York. It was in her high school years at Newton High, that Margaret would meet her future husband Amado John Davide. Coincidently Margaret was already familiar with him through his younger sister with whom she was friends with in junior high. After graduation Margaret and John married and John set off on his career with the Navy. During his years of service they moved five times from various parts of Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, New York and California. During this time Margaret and John raised six children two boys (John and Michael) and four girls (Rosemary, Janet, Barbara and Theresa.) While John worked for the Navy, Margaret enjoyed being a stay at home mother and was always fond of arts and crafts. She loved being involved with the Catholic Church, Italian Club in California and Post Falls, bowling, Assisted Nursing and various charities. It was after roughly 23 years of service that John retired with the Navy. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Amado John (Johnny) and her daughter Janet Davide. She is survived by five of her children; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls Wednesday from 11 am to 7 pm. A Rosary Service will be held Thursday January 5, 2017 at 5:00 PM at St. George Catholic Church 2010 N. Lucas St. Post Falls, Idaho 84854, A Mass will be held at 11:00 AM January 6, 2017 at St. George Catholic Church. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Cemetery in Folsom, California on January 14th, 2017.
