I love Mares! We had fun together. I worked as her PSR for several years in Sandpoint when she lived at Sandpoint Assisted Living. I remember one time when I was feeling down about something and trying to cover it up. She talked and talked in her word salad Mares way and then looked at me and said, "It will be okay, Love," and then started talking again. She knew much more than people knew.
When she moved to Coeur d'Alene I missed her. So sorry she is gone. Such a light.

When my brother Joseph passed away 4 months ago, we found out that Marilyn was a good friend of his and that was truly consoling to us. I am pleased that I was able to make her acquaintance. May she remain safe in Jesus' arms and be at rest. Our prayers are with her family as well as the staff and residents of her Harmony House family. May God console and strengthen all.
Marilyn was one of the first residents I became familiar with when I started working as an Ombudsman. We became friends, and I always enjoyed spending time talking with her at the many assisted living facilities she was at.
I will truly miss her, and look forward to seeing her again in the future.
Sorry for your loss. It sounds like you did everything you could to make her life as good as it could be. Now she in the arms of Jesus and is whole again. Love and Blessing from Iowa.
