My sincerest condolences to the Anderson family and all of Don's close friends. I only recently met Don through a close mutual friend, Chris G, and also considered Don a friend almost immediately - such a friendly personality! I was hoping to share some epic motorcycle rides with Don and friends this summer and beyond. I'm still processing his untimely passing; can't believe it's been a month already. I will be attending today's memorial service to pay my respects and remember him.

May I offer my deepest sympathy to Don's family and friends. I met Don and Anne in my early flying days at Cypress College. I admired Don for his zest for life; he truly enjoyed all that life had to offer and his spirit was wonderfully infectious. I remember Don checking me out in a Citabria, and on subsequent flights showing me what it meant to be a taildragger pilot. He was a good friend and loved his famiy dearly and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Sincerly,
David Hermosillo

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Don was a kind, gentle man and a great guy. I knew Don through rowing and enjoyed our time on the water. His calm and quiet presence was always a welcome refuge.
In sympathy,

My heartfelt condolences to the Anderson family. I'll always be grateful to Don and Anne for giving me my first chances in real estate. I learned a lot from Don. I'm very sad that he's gone so soon. Continue to be the strong family I know you are. You will all be in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Gaylen

Ron and I were shocked and saddened by the news of Don's passing. We're still trying to process it all. Our hearts go out to you girls and you remain in our thoughts and prayers. We have been looking at photos and are reminded of all the good times Ron and Don shared, growing up and more recently-- dirt bike riding in the desert , hunting, hiking, birthday celebrations. They spoke often on the phone and his last email to Ron was about his experience on a " mock" dating game at an event in Sandpoint. He said it was fun but a little nerve racking too. I'm so glad we got to see him a couple of times in the past 3 years, once in California for Ron's 70th Birthday and once in Seattle. Our grandkids, Addison and Jack, got to meet their Uncle Don too and we have a special pic of him helping Addie with an Easter craft. Ron will dearly miss his brother, as we all will.
Blessings , love, and hugs
Ron , janice, and family

I just wanted to tell you how wonderful Don was to me. I didn't know him well but we danced Tango together so many times and I was often with him during his lessons. He was always so positive and had such a joyful presence. He always seemed so grounded. And while humble, his strength and confidence was so attractive to the spirit. He also gave really great bear hugs and big smiles at the end of our lessons. I was shocked and so sad at the news of his passing. I will miss him. My heart goes out to all who love him. I will never forget him. Blessings on you all in your time of grief.

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. He was a huge part of getting our family involved in softball and the Cd'A softball families that helped shape our girls.
