Mike, you will be missed. Mike was a great police officer. There were many incidents when as a paramedic or captain in Downey I needed to request police assistance and I was always reassured when it was Mike who showed up. He always had our backs whenever us fire guys needed him. I have many fond memories of Mike telling his stories and playfully harassing the guys at the station. Mike always amazed us when he could rattle off all the Jeopardy answers!
Many years later, when I moved to the Coeur d' Alene area and started my job with the Northern Lakes Fire District, Mike surprised me when he dropped by the station to say hello. It had been at least 10-15 years since I had seen him, and I had no idea he had moved to Idaho, but it seemed like old times. Over the last few years I had the pleasure of seeing Mike around town and at the Memorial Golf Tournament. I know he will be missed by all his family and many friends, but I know you all have fond memories of a wonderful man. RIP Mike!
