Obituary of John Gordon

John grew up in Clearfield, UT and attended school there. He spent 23 years in military reserves, National Guard and Air Guard Reserves and retired as a TSGT. John worked at the Defense Depot in Ogden, UT and later relocated to Fairbanks Alaska to work at Ft. Wainwright's Defense Reutilation & Marketing. He then moved to Whidbey Island where he worked at Whidbey Naval Air Station's DRMO. John married Betty Hollingsworth and they had two sons, Randy & Shane and one daughter, Denice. They later divorced and John married Jean Carver. John & Jean moved to Rathdrum, ID after John retired from Civil Service. They wanted space to raise animals and enjoy nature. John was always a hard worker and a very easy person to like. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart. John was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Phyllis Gordon, grandson, Brody Crump. John is survived by his wife, Jean; brother Eugene, two sisters, Marie Bennett and Marcia Jeffs; four children, Ken (Annette) Keefer, Randy (Kerri) Gordon, Shane Gordon, & Denice Gordon; eight grandchildren, Amanda Gronwald, Randy F. Gordon, Ty Gordon, Tauni Keefer, Tessa Gordon, Tiphaniee Keefer, Heather Keefer, Kixon Zilar, and great grandson Toby V. Gronwald.
