Obituary of Larry James Schauer

Larry James Schauer passed away July 26, 2017 at the age of 81. He was born on April 24, 1936 in New Deal Montana. Larry was the 5th of 8 children born to Theobold and Emma Schauer. The family moved to Chilco, Idaho in 1941. He graduated from Rathdrum High School in 1954. Shortly after he attended and successfully completed Coyne Electrical school in Chicago Illinois then went on to complete a 3-year apprenticeship requirement to become a journeyman electrician.

Larry moved to Seattle, Washington in 1957 joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers(IBEW) union. He worked for 36 years as an Electrician in and around Seattle and Everett area, and retired in 1993. After retirement, he moved back to Rathdrum to enjoy the “easy” life with his Morgan horses.

Larry was preceded in death by his first wife Jeanette and second wife JoAnn, brother William, sisters Elsie, Violet, Betty and Ruth and his parents.

Larry is survived by his brothers Lu and Leonard Schauer, sister in law Nila Schauer and step children Kimberly, Lisa and Scott Morigeau.

A celebration of Larry’s life and potluck is scheduled for Sunday August 13, 2017 at Kelsey’s 13785 West Highway 53 #7 Rathdrum Idaho 83858 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
