Obituary of Marilyn Davis Daniels
Marilyn (Smith, Clark, Davis) Daniels, 67, graduated from this life and was gathered into the loving arms of her God on August 17th, 2017 after her courageous battle with ALS. She was born in September 1949, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Heber C Smith, Jr. and Eileen D Jenson.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her son Daryl Raymond Clark, Jr. and her husband Clifford J Daniels.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Bret T Davis, wife Brittany, nephew S. Shawn Payne, wife Tammy and many full, half and step brothers and sisters.

Marilyn’s first marriage to Daryl R Clark Sr. was blessed with her eldest son Daryl Raymond Clark, Jr. She then married Taylor C Davis and was further blessed with her younger son Bret T Davis.
She and her sons moved to Coeur d’Alene, ID in 1978. After meeting and marrying Cliff in 1991, they moved to Rathdrum in 1992. They were married for 23 years until Cliff’s passing on June 7, 2014.
Marilyn loved this experience called Life. She did her best to find enjoyment in each day, because she firmly believed every day is a grand gift from God.
A memorial service will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E Jenalan Avenue, Post Falls, ID on Saturday August 26th at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital under the memorial in her name, Butterfly Kisses.
