Obituary of Betty Lucille Fisher

Betty Lucille Fisher, 56, of Post Falls, Idaho passed away December 4, 2017 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  Betty was born October 16, 1961 in Yakima, Washington to Gerald and Sharen (Coder) Meier.  As a child Betty moved with her family to Payette Idaho where she attended and graduated from Payette High School in 1979. 

Betty met Kirk Fisher in High School, and a couple years after they graduated they found each other, and were later married August 21, 1982 in Payette.  Together they had three sons. They later relocated to Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho for work.  There she worked as a florist for ten years, and eventually worked as a housekeeper. 

Betty was a member of Word of Life Church.  She enjoyed playing cards, board games, arranging flowers, doing makeup and hair, raising a vegetable garden, and was a big cat lover.

She is survived by her loving husband Kirk of the family home in Post Falls, Idaho; three sons Jamie (Daniella) Fisher of Boise, Idaho, Christopher Fisher of Post Falls, Idaho, and Tyler Fisher of Boise, Idaho; three sisters Jodi (Jake) Fullmer of Napa, Idaho; Kathy (Steve) Glenn of Nyssa, Oregon, and Karrie (Greg) Phelps of Weiser, Idaho; five grandchildren Toby, Natalie, Chasity, Kaylee, and Aliesso; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Betty was preceded in death by her mother and one sister Sharrie Sacchetta.

A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held Thursday December 7th, 2017at 2:00 P.M. at 6701 N. Idaho Road Newman Lake, WA 99025.
