I had the pleasure of getting to know Denise in 2015 when I transferred to manage the 4th St US Bank. Denise was incredibly hard working, maybe to a fault and incredibly courageous. She had the absolute best laugh, and was a genuine friend to all. Her and I spent quite a few nights as the last ones left in the branch trying to get things closed up for the day, and she was always in great spirits. I was very saddened to hear of her passing, but I know she's not hurting anymore. I am thankful that I was blessed to know her.

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that the Ferrie family and friends are feeling because of losing Ms. Denise recently in death, way too soon. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15, Job 14:14-15) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." I was so sorry to hear of Denise passing. We have been good friends since she first trained me at US Bank. Because of family commitments I was not able to see Denise too much in the last year or attend her memorial. I know she would understand. I will miss talking to her on the phone and her sharing her life with me. She loved her family and I will miss her greatly, we had so much fun working together. My thoughts and prayers are with the family❤️
