All of us here at Crusader Fence Co., Inc., who knew Don, and who did business with and associated with him, wish to express our deepest condolences to his family, and to those who loved him.
Don was one of the most professional, honest, personable and friendly sales reps I had the pleasure of working with since I first met him in 1997, and he was always the first salesperson to respond to my urgent needs for "a quick quote".
The one story I recall that epitomizes Don's true character, is when I asked him to help me on his pricing for an ornamental fence order, and he told me that his quote was fair and firm, but if it helped us out, he would personally come to our shop and assemble the Aegis II ornamental panels for us. I gave him the order, and told him we appreciated his offer to assemble them, but it was not necessary, we would build them ourselves. Then, on the day the panel parts arrived, Don shows up at our office in work clothes, goes out to our shop, gets a table set up, and assembles the panels for us. He was truly a man of his word, and we will all miss him.
