Please share a memory of Pepper to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of Pepper Lee Patterson Richardson announce her passing on April 23, 2018 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.

Pepper was born on Dec 16, 1977 in McCall, Idaho to Ken and Wendy Patterson, and had two younger siblings, Pennie and Parker. She attended school in McCall, Idaho and graduated from McCall-Donnelly High School in 1996. Pepper attended University of Idaho and Boise State University. She graduated in 2001 with an Associate Degree in Dental Assisting.

Pepper married the love of her life, Craig Richardson, on August 18, 2001 at Brundage Mountain Ski Resort in McCall. Her son and best friend, Ryker, was born on May 19, 2002.

Pepper loved sports and was an avid ski racer. The Patterson kids (3 PPs) brought much glory and notoriety to the McCall Ski Racing Team and the Little Ski Hill, where Pepper met many lifelong friends.

Pepper and Ryker were baptized into The Church of Latter Day Saints in 2010 and Craig and Pepper sealed their marriage in the LDS Temple in Spokane, Washington in December of 2011. Pepper had many callings for the Church, including Young Women and the Relief Society.

Pepper’s vibrant personality and zest of life brought tremendous joy to those around her. She lit up the room whenever she walked in. Pepper loved and was loved by everyone who had the opportunity to know her. She loved to spend time with family and was full of hugs, laughter, and dance moves, which she and Pennie were known for. Pepper was an incredible aunt to her nephews and niece who she loved dearly.

Pepper inherited her Mom’s love for the Boise State Broncos. No matter where she lived, Pepper and Ryker loved to dress up for BSU game day, face paint and all. GO BRONCOS!!!
