Obituary of Kenneth Roy Benson

Kenneth Roy Benson, 51, passed away on May 27, 2018 at home with his family in Post Falls, Idaho. Ken was born in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho to Norman and Gladys Benson on September 10, 1966. Ken was married to Sherry Edgington Benson on June 21, 1985 for 32 happy years.

Ken worked in the HVAC trade for 30 years.  He loved the time he spent coaching his three children in park & rec and little league.  He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing with his family and friends.  He was especially proud and loved being a grandpa.

Ken is survived by his wife Sherry, three children, Matt Benson, Amanda Benson Tanner and Melissa Benson, two grandchildren Avery and Levi Tanner.  His mother Gladys Benson, brothers, Stan (Virginia), Pat (Ellen), Mike (Lena), Bill Benson and several nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Norman Benson, and brother Richard Benson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Bell Tower Funeral Home, 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. Post Falls, ID.
