Sorry to hear about Uncle Dean. Haven't been in touch ever since you were little. Duann called yesterday as she had seen this on fb but I didn't know that existed. Didn't go back for memorial day so didn't know.
Dean and I were neighbors and we grew up in a fun neighborhood. His mom, Leota, and our mom had coffee together everyday at 3 pm.
Dean was quiet, but he was always surrounded by friends. Your beautiful obituary did him justice and described him well.
It really hurts to lose a dad. Our condolences to you. The best in Dean lives on in you. Love is lasting.

Dean was one of my first dates during my freshman year of high school. We played spin-the-bottle at his house during those early teen years. I remember his laugh and his good nature. I am sorry for your loss.

I’m so very sorry to learn of your father’s passing. Your obituary said it all. What more could a man want than to be recognized for the person he was with a loving daughter who could do eloquently express that. I pray you find comfort in the many memories you have of him. You will always have his love, and he will always be your daddy. You also exhibit many of his wonderful traits. He will continue to live in your heart forever. Hugs and prayers my friend.

Pam. My husband, Sherman, and I both worked at the Curve for awhile with your parents. I remember you as a little tot, and always enjoyed your dad. My husband died last year, but he and Dean had many great talks when business was slow. They tried to solve many world problems - probably did. Sorry for your loss.
Remember your Dad well. We had many fun times with him.
You did a great obit for him. He would be proud.
