Obituary of Steven Harry Slutter
Steven Harry Slutter, 74, of Coeur d’Alene passed away on August 6, 2018 at the Schneidmiller House in Hayden. He was born on June 18, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona; Steven was the son of Harry and Bonnie (Coffman) Slutter.
Steven moved to the Coeur d’Alene area about a year ago after spending the last 40+ years living in the Tri-Cities. He was married to Linda for over 30 years; she has preceded him in death.
Steven ran his own upholstery business. He has a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He was a kind and generous man, often bringing donuts to his friends who were unable to get out. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Steven will be greatly missed by his daughter, Bonnie Slutter (Ferrin) of Coeur d’ Alene; brothers Jay (Diane) and Dana (Sandy) Slutter of California; grandchildren Steven James Slutter (Nicole) and Ashton Marie Bowling (Ben); and great-grandchildren McKinlie, Braelee and Gunner. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, step daughter Dawn and granddaughter Brianna.
