My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of Charles.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many who have experienced such a loss, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

I’ll never forget coming in from kayaking, or snowshoeing, to some deliciousness that you’d have waiting. I vividly remember many years ago, I was having an adult beverage, and you asked me “have you ever tried Meyers Rum?” I was hooked after that, and to this day Roger says “that damn Chuck”, when he comes back from the liquor store!
RIP Chuck, you’ll be missed by all that knew you.

Wonderful memorues of food and wine and family. It was always obvious how much Chuck enjoyed all three. He and Dad has agreat bond . Visiting in the last few years, even for quick weekend I could count on wonderful hospitality, conversation and of corse food and wine. He is taken from all of us way to soon. I remember swinging on the porch swing with him at Aunt Darlene’s lake house. I always remember him being so funny and I remember his kind face when he had his mustache. Even as a child I remember feeling safe around him. He exuded a purity and kindness that was so genuine. I love you all and I wish I could be there.

I still remember the first evening my husband, Dave, and I first spent time with Chuck and Diane. We were with other couples at a local Spirit Lake establishment. Chuck was being his normal self, saying semi-outrageous things and disagreeing with almost anything I said. I remember thinking, "Who is this guy?". Then I noticed that twinkle in his eye and that slight smirk at his mouth...gotcha! We will miss our dear friend and his enthusiasm for all things wine, food and silently giving so much to our community.

Diane, Charli, Angie,
So sorry for your loss. Chuck brought laughs and smiles to the life and people that surrounded him.
Many, many memories of Chuck and my dad,Ron, cooking in the kitchen with a glass of wine in their hands. You always knew the food that came out was gonna be good!
Always lots of laughs.
Cherish your memories.
Love to you all.

I will always remember the three course meal that Chuck fixed for Diane, Roxzene, and I last summer out on their back patio. It was truly a fabulous meal with much laughter, good food and wine, great friends, and a fantastic chef. He made me feel so welcome and I could feel the love and friendship that he gave us all. He will be missed. Y8qRE
