Obituary of Debra Lynne Hardrick

Please share a memory of Debra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Debra Lynne Hardrick, age 63 was taken by our Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She passed away peacefully at Schneidmiller Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. Debra was born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 24, 1955 to Edward and Peggy (Weigel) Griener. She had one brother named Denver.

Debra graduated from high school in 1973. After a failed marriage and a broken heart, she moved on with life and married William Lester Hardrick Jr., whom she dearly Loved, in Aurora, Colorado in October of 1989. She became very successful.  She was a franchise account manager for 10 years. She loved to serve as worshiper in the church and backup singer, Debra was a member of the Bethany International Church in Aurora, CO. and was a member of the Worship team. Along with her husband Debra was also a very accomplished missionary for five years.

Debra has lived all over the world, Japan, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and America. She loved spending time with family, children, two son’s Robert and Joshua Burns, with their children and wives. She also loved fishing with her husband. Debra was also a very accomplished artist. She was well known for her children’s coloring art books, and passion to proclaim the gospel to children of all ages and every culture. I cannot say enough about how she Loved and smiled at every opportunity. Debra was known for her honesty and trust worthy spirit. She lived to be a woman of her word.

Her number one passion was spending time in prayer for others. Debra was also a vice-president to Kingdom of Heaven Embassy Inc. a charity and nonprofit. She loved being able to support hurting families and children. She struggled for many years with body pain, which she did her best to ignore and not let sickness stop her from living for her Lord Jesus Christ.

Debra is survived by her husband, William Lester Hardrick, and her two sons Robert and Joshua Burns, along with their wife's Cindy Burns and MaryAnn Burns. She also is survived by 3 grandchildren, Tevin, Trustina, and Ann Burns.

Debra was also an accomplished author who wrote several books and expressed her passion

for honesty and Truth. Debra was a great mother, friend, and the best wife ever! Her compassion will forever live in my heart. She touched so many thousands of lives in her last ten years. God blessed her to go into all the world and preach the Gospel as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ. She journaled her life on a daily basis and did her best to be true to Jesus Christ. Everyone who met her knew she was a wonderful Soul.

As her husband, I salute her courage to face death and endure her suffering. I believe she is Worthy of the Lords Reward of Eternal Life. Debra, I miss you dearly and I will always call you my wife, I thank God for having been Blessed to be your Husband, brother in Christ and Friend!
