Obituary of Lillian Irene Moore

Lillian Irene Moore, age 91 passed into eternity on January 7, 2019. Lillian also known to friends and family as "Buddy", was born March 10, 1927 in Warren, New Hampshire to Hugh and Bessie Beattie.  She was the third of five children with an older brother and sister and a younger brother and sister. 

When she was eight years old her family traveled across country and settled in Coeur d" Alene, Idaho, where she attended school and made many friendships that lasted throughout her life.

In November of 1943 Lillian married Leonard Moore, together they built a home in Post Falls where they raised two children, Jim and Linda.  Lillian, a homemaker and stay at home Mom always put her family first.  Her home was a warm, loving environment where the doors were always open to friends and family. 

Lilliam loved the community of Post Falls and volunteered for several years on the local and regional library boards, served as an election worker, was a girl scout co-leader and attended Royal Neighbors.  She was an accomplished poet, avid reader, expert card player and loved working in her flower garden.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard, son James, granddaughter Shannon, brother Bill and sisters Lora and Isabel. 

Survivors include her daughter Linda Wilhelm (Roger), close family friend, Gary Wright, younger brother Rich Beatti (Alice) dearly loved grandchildren, Jason Wilhelm (Mali), Sharon Weir (Dave), Gosta Schlegel (Sheila), Alyssa Wilhelm and Jimmy Link.  As well as many nieces and nephews.
