Janet,
Although with all of Clarence's health problems and we knew he couldn't last much longer, it was such a shock when you called and told us of his passing.
Clarence was a good friend, honest and faithful to a fault, and always good-natured. We (he and Lyle) are both natives of western Illinois. Canton, Illinois, is only about
30 miles or so from where I was born and raised. We had talked about visiting many of the same places in that area. Everyone at the Lake City Community Center thought
very highly of Clarence. We have missed him, and we will continue to do so. I want to put his picture on our memory-wall there, and I think I have a pretty good picture of him. I just need to get it framed and put up, which may take me a little while.
We all know Clarence loved our Lord, and he is safely in His hands now, and while we will miss him so much, we know he is at peace and is in the presence of our Lord and Saviour. If we can be of any help to you now or in the future, we sincerely want you to call on us.
God bless you and your family. You are in our prayers, and we know He will comfort you through this very difficult time.
