Obituary of Glenn Murray Dorsey

Dorsey, Glenn Murray peacefully passed away in Post Falls, Idaho on February 28, 2019, at the age of 78 years. Born in Omaha, NE on January 30, 1941. Predeceased by Jeanne Ann Hass Pierce his loving wife of 53 years and parents Glenn and Margaret Dorsey. Lovingly remembered by son Jason Dorsey of Spokane, WA. Survived by sister Jo Ann in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and one nephew David in Miami, FL. He graduated from Nebraska State and played football for the Cornhuskers he later went back to college at Gonzaga University in 1989 in Spokane, WA and graduated with a Masters in Accounting in 1991. He was drafted into the Army after college and was stationed in Fort Hood, TX. He built a career in the accounting field in the automotive industry in Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Arizona, and Washington . After graduating from GU he opened an accounting firm in Coeur d’Alene, ID and then moved to Rathdrum, ID.  He was a great father, devoted husband, and loyal friend who was there when needed.

A Memorial Service will be offered at Bell Tower Funeral Home and Crematory at 3398 E Jenalan Ave, Post Falls, ID on Saturday March 23rd at 3pm.

Interment will be scheduled at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Rifle Association a group Glenn supported avidly.
