Mom became a great witch at Halloween. I can still hear her cackle and "witchy" voice saying "I will get you my pretty!" Her costume and face makeup were so dramatic that if I had not seen her get dressed up, it was hard to remember she was mom. She would have black teeth, warts, long black costume and a black hat. Our farm neighbors haunted houses were tolerable because I knew mom was there somewhere and that made it more fun, after the scary part. Thank you Mom for making me proud to say "Yep, that's my mom."
