Mary Lynne Roberson 

Mary Lynne (Russell) Roberson, 82, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2019 at Guardian Angel Homes in Post Falls, Idaho.

Born to Lorris and Gertrude (Reed) Russell on November 8, 1936 in Jackson, Michigan, she was the youngest of two children and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1955.

Dearly loved by all, her friendly and caring nature was perfectly suited for the health care career field. A profession she embraced for over 35 years eventually retiring from Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe, California.

Mary Lynne had many talents including painting and writing poetry. She enjoyed taking walks in the countryside, loved singing, and was very accomplished at playing the piano by ear.

She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy (Russell) Olmsted.

Mary Lynne is survived by her husband of 50 years Robert Roberson of Post Falls, Idaho; children Christopher (Jannette) Cowgill of Hauser, Idaho, Ruthie Roberson of Clear Lake, California; brothers-in-law William Roberson of Montclair, California, Norman Olmsted of Chelsea, Michigan; 6 nieces and nephews; former husband Duane Cowgill; and former sister-in-law Shirley Roberson.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm, May 18, 2019 at the Napoleon United Methodist Church, 210 Nottawasepee, Napoleon, MI.
