Obituary of Sherrie Johnson

Please share a memory of Sherrie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sherrie was the first child of Robert and Shirley Fuson, Born August 19th of 1952. born at Deaconess hospital in Spokane, WA. , growing up in Mead WA. and soon was joined by Sister Bobbie and Brothers Terry & Robbie. The family moved to a small home in County Homes in north Spokane and attended Whitworth elementary. Sherrie was a student of the Mead schools but spent her last 2 years at Rogers, and graduated class of 1970. Sherrie's first job was as a roller skating car hop at A & W, she then went on to Kinmen Business College and worked as a medical records specialist, dog groomer, caregiver and "cna" at Lakeland Village, worked as a Washington State Prison guard and most recently 9 years as an employee with the State of Idaho. Sherrie was married & divorced twice; 1st to Randy Jewett and then to Willie Johnson both of Spokane WA. (no children) She was very social, loved dating & dancing (In early years would cause fender benders to meet guys) She said Prom's we're her favorite! She loved the dresses, hair, and the guy's treating her like a princess. And Sherrie definitely pulled that off, she was beautiful! She liked to snow & water ski, camp, and most of all loved animals "especially dogs" There's "Guys & Dolls" and then there's Sherrie. "Guys & Dogs"! Sherrie was a very caring friend, sister & daughter. Sherrie lovingly & gently cared for our Mother Shirley; as she struggled with "ALS" and passed in late December of 2011. Sherrie's heart was deeply tender towards others. Sherrie was fortunate to be near so many family and friends. Bobbie her younger sister, Terry and Rob her two brothers, sister-in-law, Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Many great friends. Sherrie also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the jokes, stories and pranks our family & friends preformed often and believe me Sherrie had her hand in many. While we will miss Sherrie being with us, we will always carry her in our hearts and be with her one day soon again. Please add your stories, and photos of Sherrie, and light a remembrance candle on the Bell tower web page so all of us can celebrate her life.
