Like a second mother to me during my time in the military, Lorena always showed me love, kindness and support. I will never forget the Sabbaths we spent together and will forever be grateful she took me in to her family and made me the "honorary" Severance. I loved her dearly and will always remember her laugh, humor and spirit.
I pray for you all during this difficult time and know God will provide you with strength as we await his return to be reunited again. Lorena, I love you and will miss you. I thank the Lord each day that he put you in my path at a time when your guidance and love were what I needed the most.

Our love goes out to your family at this difficult time of transition as you lay your mother to rest until Jesus returns. We appreciated her gentle ways and friendly smile, and know you have so many fond memories in your hearts of your family times. It's special for us to have our mothers around when our own children are growing up so they can know the love of parents and grandparents, and I share that privilege with you because my mom lived until she was 93 and even knew my grandchildren. We will remember you in prayer daily.
