Shirley - you were the best "other mother" to me. I have such great memories, especially the summer I spent every weekend with you and Don! It was so great for me to have that "home away from home", and you always made me feel like one of the family. You will definitely be missed. Love to Char, Mike, Cindi, Heather and Carly.
We know that are lives on this planet is short but sweet for certain. Actually I stole this from a DMB song. She had the gusto and could light a fire under anyone. I think of her making egg not and she loved to please everyone. Her heart was always there and will remain in spirit. She will be missed but not forgotten. Spread your wings and fly. This is such a hard time for family. Losing someone who has been such an amazing part of your life for such a long time leaves an empty spot .... but that empty spot will most definitely be filled with beautiful thoughts and memories of such a great lady.
