Obituary of Matthew Ryan Wallace

On Friday, May 31, 2019 Matt Wallace, loving husband and father passed away at the young
age of 37. Matt was born on April 6, 1982 in New Hampshire to Mike and Marci Wallace. Matt worked as
a 911 dispatch supervisor in Coeur d’Alene for the last 13 years. On July 7, 2006 Matt married
Katie (Mack) Wallace. They have two amazing children, Jared (12) and Braden (9).
Matt loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed going to the ocean, camping and taking
hikes to waterfalls. He also loved playing video games with his sons. Matt enjoyed his job as a
911 dispatch supervisor, he helped so many people in our community. He was known for his
calm demeanor and pizza obsession.

Matt was preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara and grandmother Ruth. He is survived
by his wife Katie, his two children Jared and Braden, his mother Marci, his father Mike, his step
mother Beth, his grandad Lynn and grandmother Elsie, his grandad Reed, his brothers James
and Dan, his in-laws Larry, Deanna and Al, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews
and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post
Falls at 1:00 pm.
