Obituary of Mike L Smith

Mike L. Smith, of Spirit Lake, Idaho passed away peacefully on 6/26/2019 at the crack of dawn,
his favorite time of day, for all of his outdoor hobbies. You know when the fish are biting and the
deer are moving and of course the snow is fresh for skiing and snowmobiling.
He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1973. He worked at LP, then operated businesses
in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He was in construction management in Hawaii, Idaho and Washington .
He fought a couragous battle with cancer. A man of honor and dignity, he never complained.
Also, loved to cook and garden.
He married his high school sweetheart of 46 years, Debbie and together they had Tess (Victor)
Rae, Travis (Corilynne), Tyln ( Rachel) and eight grandchildren to whom he cherished.
He is also survived by his mother Gerry, brother Dan and sister Larri Ann Mishko, and preceded
by his father Larry.
He will be greatly missed by all of us, who enjoyed his adventures in life together.
At his request no services will be held.
