I have beautiful memories of the whole Kirk clan growing up. My dad, Paul and his brother, Ralph were so dedicated to family that a bond formed between our families that continued for many years including summer vacations together. Those were the special times for me growing up filled with adventures (good, bad and interesting BUT always fun}. There were always laughs and Aunt Alma had the most beautiful laugh. Her southern drawl matched her charm and fit right in with we Okies. We got to know many of her family members who became part of ours over the years. While the two brothers Ralph and Paul LOVED to tease we kids relentlessly especially as teenagers, Alma and my mother, Ann were the rock that held us together (and usually maintained the sanity). It seems like in this strange world what we had was rare and special and I am so grateful for the experience. I feel sure that Alma and Ralph are laughing together right now and smiling down on Brenda, Debbie and Jimmy who have carried on the love and experiences with their families. God bless you all.
