Obituary of Alma Ruth Kirk
Please share a memory of Alma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Alma Ruth Kirk, 85, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 20, 2021. She was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. Feb. 1, 1935.
Alma was one of seven siblings and is reunited with all of them once again in Heaven.
Alma met Ralph, fell in love, and married in 1950. They were married for 60 years.
She leaves behind a legacy as devoted children: Brenda and husband Bill; Ralph Jr. / Jimmy and wife,
Joelle; and Debbie. Brenda gave her grandsons, Billy, and Chris. Jimmy gave them Jennifer and Monique and Debbie gave them Shawn and Patrick.
She loved grandkids; Billy and wife, Dawn; Chris and wife Joann, Shawn and wife, Sandra; Patrick and wife, Dawn; Jennifer and husband, Jason, and Monique. She has 13 great grandkids and 3 great-great grandkids.
The most favorite time of the year for Mom was summertime. She loved working in her yard, planting flowers and caring for them. She loved her walks. She walked down to the cemetery 2 miles away to say “hi” to the love of her life. This is what kept her going.
She will be missed by many who knew and loved her. And you know, she loved each and every one of you.
