Mary was a kind and gentle lady. I will always remember her fondness for chocolate and our afternoon tea and cookie breaks. The laughter we shared will stay with me forever- she was truly a shining gem in our lives!

Aunt Mary was such a very sweet soul. Since the extended family mostly all lived close we were lucky to be able to have many BBQ's, holiday parties, and beach days together. I really enjoyed all those times and it allowed me to really appreciate having such a close family, and Mary was a big part of it. Mary was always smiling and gentle even with us unruly kids. She is indeed the end of an era. Thank you for being part of so many of my fond memories.

I will always remember Aunt Mary as a cheerful person who loved having folks including my parents and I come visit her and Uncle Ed. After Uncle Ed passed, I made a point of visiting Aunt Mary when I was in town from California. She would cook up a meal that we'd enjoy together and then we'd often play a card game or just chat afterwards. When my daughter Madeleine attended Connecticut College, she went on several occasions to visit with Aunt Mary and they so enjoyed one another's company. I also recall twisting Aunt Mary's arm on more then one occasion, to take her out for a lobster dinner. She's the last of the 'Marchesseault's and Spouses' generation. What a terrific group of men and women they were. I've included a photo from my wedding day. There's Aunt Mary just behind me and with her sweetie Uncle Ed. So glad they were there along with the other Marchesseault's and spouses!

I got to know Mary through her time at Orchard Ridge. Mary was always so kind and gracious to all of those around her. She made a point of thanking me for any small insignificant act of service. But when I think of Mary, I see her giggling like a schoolgirl with her good friend Jean. They both fussed over each other and took such loving care of each other and giggled all through their time together. Mary will be missed by many and definitely by me!

Mary had such a kind soul and had nothing but nice things to say about everyone. I loved watching her and Jean's relationship grow into such a beautiful friendship. Every time I think of her, I picture her and Jean with their heads close together talking and giggling. My favorite memory of her is when I was able to bring my wedding dress in to show her. Her face lit up with excitement and she said it brought back memories from her own wedding day. I will miss her tremendously every day.

My Mother was always excited and willing to try something new, meet new people, and travel to new destinations.
She was an optimist with a positive outlook on life.
Her family members always came first in her life. She was supportive, protective, and loving.
She will be sorely missed but dearly remembered.
